Don’t Be Troubled

Who hasn’t gone through rough moments in life? Every one of us will experience some times in the valley, but we can rest assured that we aren’t alone in that.

One of my favorite verses is,  ”Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 Turn to God letting Him help you through it. He won’t necessarily take it away, but He will see you through it.

There is more growth in valley experiences than mountaintop ones. Nobody enjoys the rough times, me included, but as you yield to God, He will comfort plus help you persevere. Don’t run from it; face it with God’s help!! Great mountains are climbed as we go through the challenges towards victory!

Fitball exercise balls are the perfect solution towards getting that daily exercise that you need. Take a fast look then get yours ordered today.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said,” Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.” Yes, action has to be part of our lives! Let’s look at more life lessons.

  1.   Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need: be happy with what you do have.
  2.   If we all threw our problems in a pile and got a look at everyone else’s, we’d fight to get ours back.
  3.   Get outside every day.
  4.   Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick, but your friends will.
  5.   Growing old beats the alternative. Rejoice each day!

Write these positive quotes down from this week so as to keep a winning life attitude. Add in some of your own. Get some fitness workouts with one of our exercise balls, from our website at Health Product Ventures. They add in new excitement to your fitness regime.

  4. You can get through the tough times. Stay put and persevere.
  5. Don’t take yourself too seriously; no-one else does.

Life is definitely an adventure. Every day has its own challenges that we need to face. Never give up, as Winston Churchill admonished. Here are a few more Life Lessons to reflect on today.

  1. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, enjoy your cloth napkins. Don’t wait for that special occasion; today is special enough.
  2. Overprepare then go with the flow.
  3. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. Learn to speak up and ask.
  4. Your children get only one childhood; make it memorable!
  5. God loves you unconditionally: yield to God and love Him back.

Those are great suggestions that you should consider acting on. Try  Valeo Exercise Balls  while you are getting those dailyworkouts. They are a quality line that we are glad to be able to offer, at special pricing and fast delivery. Click on the Valeo link to see!

Mood Helper

What can you do for yourself, or another, when you feel down? Many people have tried alcohol, exercise, or even chocolate, without any longterm success. When my ten year old girl, Eliza, was moping about one Saturday, we stopped by a nearby friend’s house. They have a  motorcycle, so we decided to let her get on it,  then take her picture! That perked her up momentarily. It isn’t always easy to get yourself out of a funky mood, but one suggestion may help on certain occasions.

One thing that can help is to pull out your photo album! Personal photos can help you feel significantly better.  Jim Croce sang a much remembered song about photographs and memories! That is a key! Years back, I put together a scrapbook of kids and adults laughing, happy, and having fun, plus a photo of a clown or two. That book  really helps me at times. In today’s world, you can take your photo’s with you, on your phone, blackberry, or another device. Keep some good photos accessible to help your mood swings.

Surely there are other things that work for you, like praying, taking a walk, sports, watching a movie or television, or getting with a friend. Try the photo idea the next time you are in a bad mood and see if that works for you too.

Wise Words

In life, our happiness or unhappiness depends far more on the way we meet the events of life than on the nature of those events themselves. We can choose how we think and respond to every moment, whether good or bad, in a positive frame of mind or not.

Tom Aldrich said, ” a man is known by the company his mind keeps.” That holds true with the friends or people we surround ourselves with too. Henry Van Dyke, not Dick, said,” happiness is inward, and not outward; so it does not depend on what we have, but in what we are.”

Sydney Harris said, ” happiness is a direction, not a place.”

In a race to be better or best, don’t forget to enjoy the journey. “We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies,” stated Roderick Thorpe

In Proverbs it says that a merry heart is like a good medicine. Think of getting better workouts with Gaiam Exercise Balls. Some daily exercise and fitness will help you towards a healthy lifestyle while feeling and looking better!

Ten Ways To Enrich Your Life

If we make it a habit to be a bit better each and every day, we will reap the rewards that it bestows upon us. Here are a few ways, ten in this list, to enrich your life:

  1. Bring light into someone else’s life. Do something for someone else, without expecting anything in return.
  2. Remember that life is a gift from God. It does have meaning and purpose.
  3. Get some exercise and fitness. Walk often, get workouts, seek healthiness, and dance whenever you can.
  4. Don’t hold onto bad feelings, letting them fester. Clear up any misunderstandings with those close to you before bed.
  5. Have breakfast and dinner with your family regularly.
  6. Read each day; something inspiring and helpful.
  7. Take the time to enjoy nature. Take a walk in a park; watch a sunrise or sunset, feed the birds and enjoy them.
  8. Express your gratitude to someone. Make a call or write them a letter; or meet somewhere.
  9. Tell family members that you love them daily. Hug and kiss them.
  10. Give back. Volunteer or take part in your Church or a local organization.

Realize that in some way you influence everyone you come in contact with. Leave a legacy of great experiences. Is the world a bit better because of you and what you have done? If you influence even just one other for good, then the answer is yes!

Get that exercise and fitness each day with Tony Little or Total Gym. You can do it!! Regular workouts will produce the positive results that you want, but start right away!

Today it is a pleasure to pass on some of the advice, called Sage Advice, from Abraham Lincoln. These nuggets are timeless; as true today as they were in President Lincoln’s era.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.

You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.

You cannot further brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.

You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative & independence.

You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

These words are very fitting for today and should be followed by each of us, especially adhered to by our elected government  officials. Pass this on to any that you feel would help make a difference.

Maqui Berry is a very high antioxidant supplement that helps promote better health. Read all about this in the link to our website that gives more information on it.

There are three types of people; those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what            happened.

Most of us will never do great things, but we can do small things in a great way.

“When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.”  William Arthur Ward

Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go!

” Do you want to know how to make God laugh? Tell Him your plans for the next year!!”    Ted Sprague
