We each handle stress in a different way. Our health and wellness depend on how we are dealing with stress. Today we will list some ways to better deal with stress to conclude our segment. Look at the past articles on stress for success for additional information to this subject.
Healthy living is more readily attained by taking charge of yourself. Choose to find ways to handle your stress more effectively thus not letting it get the better of you. Be comfortable with who you are. Write down what stresses you, as we discussed in our last blog. Focus on positive things; have an upbeat attitude and count your blessings, not your problems. Laugh more: watch a comedy show or movie on occasion. Laugh at yourself, not taking yourself too seriously.
Seek a balance in life. Don’t overwork, or overplay. Find a good Church; get to know your Maker. Develop some friendships then share with each other. Have a forgiving spirit; don’t hold on to grudges for they harm you more. Get some exercise seeking personal health, eat sensibly, get enough sleep, reduce alcohol, don’t smoke, or take drugs. Never try to release your stress in unhealthy ways, like overeating, under eating, procrastinating, sleeping too much, withdrawing from people, especially not family or friends, or taking it out on others.
As stated earlier, we need a good balance in life. Sometime an extra source is needed. I take a Purity Products multivitamin regime that helps me through the day. Many are turning towards energy bars and power drinks, like co-q 10 or Maqui super fruit energy drink. Health enery drinks can really help add stamina.
Whatever you choose to do in your active lifestyle , remember to take some time for you each day, even if only a brief moment. Plant a garden or maybe take a weekend trip away to decompress. Do some deep breathing to help relax. To sum up, you are unique and one of a kind. Use some of these ideas if you want, but whatever you do, seek to get your stresses identified and under control. Life is too short on earth to sweat the small stuff!
