horse-racingFor those of you who saw the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, you witnessed history. The amazing finish by Mine That Bird in the Derby, was truly something to watch. Equally amazing was the finish of the Preakness, where Rachel Alexandra, a young filly, beat out Mine That Bird plus all of the other fine horses in that race.

In the Kentucky Derby, Mine That Bird was a 50-1 long shot victory; where the horse came from way behind the pack, to race up and convincingly finish first. What a race! Rachel Alexandra was the first female horse to win the Preakness in 85 years. Even with the track loose under her feet, she still held on from, again, a fast charging Mine That Bird, coming into second place towards first from the back of the pack. Also, what a race!! The same jockey, Calvin Borel, had ridden both winners in each race, which was also a first. If he rides and wins in the last race, the Belmont, he will make history, being the first rider on two different horses to win the triple crown; all three races.

You really don’t want to miss that race on June 6th, live from New York’s Belmont Park. Will Borel win again? Will Rachel Alexandra be in the race? How will Mine That Bird do? Mike Smith, who rode Mine That Bird in the Preakness, will ride him again in the Belmont. The excitement is mounting!

To keep fit, like the jockeys and the horses too, consider your health and fitness by starting your own home gym. Not much room is needed: these can even be stored away, with easy and fast setup each time. One of the great healthy recipes for an in shape physique, is to use your home gym for twenty or so minutes per day. Even exercising a few times per week is adequate to help yourself on the road to being in better shape plus excess weight loss. Just do it, then one day be glad you did.
