Watching children can be loads of fun. Kids know how to have fun with playing until they drop. Kids normally seem to be full of joy, ready to have a great time as they join in with other friends.

As we grow older, the responsibilities kick in, so some of the joy may depart. Kids have no worries, are trusting, and full of energy. We all wish we could bottle up that energy as we need it! Once a child learns to walk, they are ready to explore a new, wonderful and exciting world before them.

We are exhorted to be like little children and seek the Lord while He may be found. As we get the opportunity, we should, as the Bible states, change and become like children, to draw near to God. As adults, we have more baggage, our defenses are up, and we may not receive God’s invitation to be His. A child will be more open, willing, and ready to receive God on His terms, then be led by Him. God wants us to fully open ourselves to Him plus be trusting and obedient to His calling in our lives.
