An article in the latest edition of Health Magazine tells us to not be so rigid, with too many rules. Too many rules on ourselves can make life quite routine and much less enjoyable.
Occasionally stop in a bakery and get a doughnut, or bagel: something that your heart desires. For me, it is an occasional chocolate eclair. Take a private moment in a closed room to vent; let it all out. Laugh, cry, speak your peace, pound a pillow. Don’t hold it all in as if everything is okay. Learn to say no. You can’t please every person with demands. When you wake up and need to get out of bed, think of a positive thought to help, like ‘it’s going to be the best day ever!’.
