One of the keys to being a happier person, is to only surround yourself with positive people. If negative, naysayers are around you, they will affect your attitude, over time, to be just like theirs. Have friendships with ones who you gel with, who also are of a good, positive attitude. Bad stuff happens to everyone, but you can keep on trucking with a great outlook!
Do something fun that you have wanted to do. Go to a movie or concert, attend a ball game, take a long walk, put on some old music you like, or whatever. Take time to do something fun, out of the daily grind. Laugh often!! Let your stress melt away in that moment!
Getting daily exercise and fitness, healthy eating/ heart healthy diet, proper sleep & rest, and having some occasional down time to recharge, are all very helpful in affording you a happy attitude. Not that we must be a Pollyanna, but we must learn to be the best we each can be. Choosing to be a happy person is well worth the effort. An effort that reaps many rewards.
